Inspired by soft organic forms, Ripple brings warmth and movement to the wall without demanding attention. The raised back subtly frames the objects it holds, allowing even the simplest arrangements to feel considered.

Equally at home in children's rooms, living spaces or hallways, Ripple combines practical storage with sculptural design. Like every Studio Jes Iken piece, it is thoughtfully made in the Netherlands in small batches, with careful attention to craftsmanship and lasting quality.

The Ripple Shelf is available in both a left- and right-facing version.

Looking for something personal? Every piece can also be finished in a custom colour. Simply select the custom colour option and enter the paint brand and colour code in the notes during checkout.

If your order includes multiple furniture pieces in the same custom colour, the surcharge only needs to be added once to the largest item.

Each Ripple Shelf is crafted from FSC-certified plywood and finished in a carefully curated selection of durable lacquer colours, chosen to stand up beautifully to everyday use.

Looking for something a little more distinctive? The Ripple Shelf is also available in pine plywood finished with pigmented linseed oil. This finish allows the natural grain of the wood to remain visible beneath beautifully pigmented colours, creating a unique balance between bold colour and natural texture.

How is the Ripple Shelf mounted?
The Ripple Shelf is supplied with a hidden wall mounting system and all the necessary hardware for installation on a stone wall. For hollow walls, different plugs should be used. Once mounted, the shelf appears to float seamlessly against the wall.

Can I combine different shelves?
Absolutely. The Ripple Shelf is designed to work beautifully alongside the Cloud Shelf and Pebble Shelf. Mixing different shapes creates a playful wall composition that can grow and evolve over time.

What is the lead time?
Each Ripple Shelf is made to order in the Netherlands. The current lead time is approximately 6 weeks.

How do I clean the Ripple Shelf?
The lacquered surface can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and excessive moisture to keep the finish looking its best.

Can I order a custom colour?
The Ripple Shelf is available in the colours shown on the website. If you're looking for something specific or would like to discuss a custom project, feel free to get in touch.

Can I return my order?
Because every Ripple Shelf is made to order, returns are generally not accepted. If your order arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing issue, please get in touch and we'll always work together to find a suitable solution.
