Like every Studio Jes Iken piece, Sunny is thoughtfully made in the Netherlands in small batches, with careful attention to craftsmanship and lasting quality.

The Sunny lamp is crafted from pine plywood and finished with pigmented linseed oil. This unique finish allows the natural wood grain to remain subtly visible, giving each lamp its own character while adding depth and warmth to the colour.

The collection is available in a carefully curated palette of expressive shades, each chosen to complement contemporary interiors while bringing a playful accent to the room.

Because the wood grain remains visible beneath the finish, every Sunny lamp is slightly unique, making each piece one of a kind.

The Sunny Lamp combines honest materials with thoughtful craftsmanship. Crafted from 30 mm thick pine plywood, it features a generous profile with a continuous curved edge that gives the lamp its distinctive sculptural character. The exposed plywood layers are left visible, becoming part of the design and celebrating the natural beauty of the material.

Finished with pigmented linseed oil and paired with a linen-covered cord and a softly diffused glass globe, every detail has been carefully considered. The included LED bulb provides a warm ambient light while remaining energy efficient. Together, these carefully selected materials create a lamp that feels both playful and refined, designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

How do I care for the lamp?
Simply wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged exposure to moisture to keep the finish looking its best for years to come.

Is the lamp suitable for a children's room?
Yes. Sunny was designed with family life in mind and works beautifully in children's rooms as well as living spaces throughout the home. The lamp includes an LED bulb, which stays much cooler than traditional bulbs during normal use.

What is the lead time?
Each Sunny lamp is made to order in the Netherlands. The current production time is approximately 6 weeks, allowing every piece to be carefully crafted and finished before it leaves the workshop.

Can I return my order?
Because every item is made to order, returns are generally not accepted. If your order arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing issue, please get in touch and we'll always work together to find a suitable solution.
