The Waves Desk with drawers is designed to do exactly that. Combining soft, sculptural lines with thoughtfully integrated storage, it offers a calm workspace where focus, creativity and everyday routines naturally come together. Two handcrafted drawers keep everyday essentials neatly tucked away, while an open display shelf provides space for the books, magazines or treasured objects that inspire you every day. Every detail has been carefully considered to maintain the desk's clean silhouette while creating a workspace that feels both practical and personal. Made to order in our workshop in the Netherlands, it's a piece designed to be lived with for many years.

Looking for something more personal? Every piece can also be finished in a custom colour. Simply select 'Custom colour' as your colour choice, add the Custom Colour option to your cart, and enter the paint brand and colour code in the order notes at checkout.

If your order includes multiple furniture pieces in the same custom colour, the surcharge only needs to be added once to the largest item.

The Waves Desk is available in three different heights to suit a wide range of users and spaces. Whether you're creating a creative corner for a young child, a study space for a teenager or a workspace for yourself, there's a height to match.

Because the solid wooden legs are replaceable, the desk can easily adapt over time without replacing the entire piece.

The recommendations below offer a comfortable starting point. If you already have a chair at home, we also recommend checking whether the seat height pairs well with your chosen desk height.

Crafted from FSC-certified plywood with solid pine legs, the Waves Desk is built for everyday use and designed to last for years to come.

Each desk is carefully made to order in our workshop in the Netherlands and finished by hand using a durable, water-based lacquer that is both hard-wearing and easy to maintain.

The integrated drawers are handcrafted from plywood and fitted with traditional wooden runners, allowing the full depth of each drawer to be used efficiently while preserving the desk's clean, minimal design.

Should your needs change over time, the solid wooden legs can easily be replaced with a taller size, extending the life of the desk without replacing the piece itself.

Is the desk delivered assembled?
The desk is delivered flat-packed to ensure safe transport. Assembly is straightforward, and all necessary hardware and instructions are included.

Are the drawers soft-close?
No. We intentionally chose traditional wooden runners to maximise the usable drawer space and preserve the clean, minimal construction of the desk. The result is generous storage without compromising the design.

How do I care for the desk?
Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth and a mild detergent if needed. Avoid harsh cleaning products or excessive moisture to keep the finish looking its best.

Where is the desk made?
Every Waves Desk is handcrafted to order in our workshop in the Netherlands. By producing only what is needed, we reduce waste while creating a piece made especially for its future home.

What is the current lead time?
Because each Waves Desk – Drawers is handcrafted to order, our current lead time is approximately 8 weeks.

Compared to our other furniture, this piece requires considerably more time to produce. Every drawer is individually handcrafted and carefully fitted by hand to ensure smooth movement and a precise, seamless finish.

We believe that creating furniture with this level of care simply takes time, and we're convinced it's worth the wait.

Can I order colour samples first?
Absolutely. Our sample booklet allows you to experience each finish in your own home before making a decision. Natural light, surrounding colours and materials all influence how a finish will appear.

Can I return my desk?
Because every Waves Desk is made to order, we cannot accept returns. If you have any questions before ordering, we're always happy to help you choose the right finish or height.
