Every Waves Desk is made to order in the Netherlands. By producing only what is needed, we reduce waste while creating a piece that's made especially for its future home.

Looking for something more personal? Every piece can also be finished in a custom colour. Simply select 'Custom colour' as your colour choice, add the Custom Colour option to your cart, and enter the paint brand and colour code in the order notes at checkout.

If your order includes multiple furniture pieces in the same custom colour, the surcharge only needs to be added once to the largest item.

Choosing the right height
The desk height can be selected in the options to suit your child's current height. Because the legs are replaceable, the desk can easily grow alongside them for many years to come.

The recommendations below are based on your child's height and provide a comfortable starting point. If you already have a chair at home, we also recommend checking whether the seat height matches the desk height.

Crafted from FSC-certified plywood and finished with a durable lacquer designed for everyday family life.

Looking for a more natural appearance? The Waves Desk is also available in FSC-certified veneered plywood, finished with pigmented linseed oil that allows the beautiful wood grain to remain visible.

How do I choose the right desk height?
Our size guide is based on your child's height as well as the recommended seat height. If you're unsure which height is the best fit, we're always happy to help you choose the right option for your child.

Can the desk grow with my child?
Yes. The Waves Desk is available in different heights, and the legs can easily be replaced in the future. This allows the desk to adapt as your child grows, making it a piece that can be enjoyed for many years.

What's the difference between the wall-mounted and freestanding version?
The wall-mounted version offers maximum stability and is ideal for a dedicated spot in your home. The freestanding version offers greater flexibility and can easily be moved whenever you decide to rearrange your space.

Whichever version you choose, you'll enjoy the same timeless design and carefully crafted quality.

Can I order a custom colour?
Absolutely. All furniture can be finished in a custom colour of your choice. Simply select the custom colour option before checkout and include the paint brand and colour code in the order notes.

If you're unsure about your colour choice, we recommend ordering a sample card first so you can see the finish in your own home.

Can the Waves Desk be customised to fit my space?
Yes. Because every Waves Desk is made to order, we can often make small adjustments to fit around existing features such as a chimney breast, support beam or other architectural details.

Is the desk easy to assemble?
The freestanding Waves Desk is delivered with simple assembly instructions. The wall-mounted version includes all necessary hardware and instructions for securely fixing the desk to the wall.

Can I order colour samples?
Yes. You can order a sample book featuring our lacquer colours. If you're considering a pigmented linseed oil finish, feel free to get in touch. We'd be happy to help you choose the option that best suits your space.

How long does it take to make my desk?
Every Waves Desk is made to order in our workshop in the Netherlands. This means we only start production once your order has been placed, allowing us to reduce waste while making each piece especially for its future home.

Our current lead time is approximately 6 weeks.

Can I return my order?
Because every item is made to order, returns are generally not accepted. If your order arrives damaged or there is a manufacturing issue, please get in touch and we'll always work together to find a suitable solution.
